    Hey! I really like what you’ve done with this. The silent “build-up” to the end is almost uncomfortable, and that works really well for the piece. It’s as if all of the moments from childhood build to this second encounter that is so easily dismissed. I’m especially a fan of your inclusion of the “thought voice” with “Sh-ee-ra” “no, that was wrong.” The selfishness of a child’s language is evident there yet it seems justified because of the closeness you establish with the name earlier on. One thing I would question would be the page with the “in those games.” I didn’t catch it the first time I saw the piece, but I’m wondering if that repetition is necessary. Is it meant to be ironic? (i.e. is this really a game to the narrator?)
